3.1 Starting the analyzer: When the analyzer is installed, turn on the power to begin; The instrument will begin a self-test. After the instrument has been through the self-test, the instrument is in the working state, it displays the main screen.
3.2 Check the stage: Before starting any test you should first check the stage to see if it is clean or if there is any foreign things see if the loading platform and the white calibration tile are clean or not. If you do notice that they are not clean, refer to a manual about urine analyzer maintenance and repair.
3.3 Single strips test mode: Press the Start button, the instrument alert beep dipped into the urine, the countdown will start from 63 seconds (for 8 dipstick test the countdown will start from 33 seconds), remove the test strip and then immerse it completely immersed into the patient urine for 1-2 seconds, then remove the strips use a cleaning paper to remove excess urine and then put the strips on the loading platform in such a way to reach the top slot.
3.4 Continuous strip test mode: In case of continuous testing, the countdown will start from "32"(for 8 dipstick test it will start from 3), after the instrument beeps, prepare the second strip by immerse it in the urine and then put on the absorbent paper and wait for the next beep. When the instrument beeps again prepare the third strip, also put the second test strip prepared on the loading platform, and so on to complete a continuous operation. In Continuous test mode, at the end of the test you will have to remove the plate-form from the instrument so that the instrument stops automatically, otherwise, the instrument will go on testing the same strips over and over again.
3.5 Gray bar test: Gray bar is the standard fixed-absorbance used to test the stability of urine. It can be test directly on the machine. It is not permit to put water or urine on the plate-form during this test the test results should the same according to the "gray bar test value" line, if not contact the service.
